open4art

Open4art is a fully content manageable, e-commerce enabled, online gallery web site.

The site features a clean and effective user-interface design (see-through drop-down navigation bar, database driven image thumbnail generation), enabling easy browsing and searching for paintings. ASP technology was used for development together with Barclays Bank Merchant Connection Kit for online credit-card transaction support. The site features a shopping basket, mailing list support and a content management system which allows administrators to easily manage every aspect of the site.

Additionally, a separate art trading web site (www.lawrenecechurchill.com) was developed to be used for showing trade prices only. The access to this site is restricted to registered art wholesalers, interior designers and other art dealers.

The site also includes an advanced art investment module, where dealers can invest in open4art paintings and then share the profit from art sales. The module tracks and shows all transaction details for the investment pool and personal details for each investor.
